How this guide is written
Editorial policy
What gets published
A public guide needs a title, a real user task, sources, a verification method, a verification date, a spoiler grade, and an expiry condition. If any of those are missing, the file stays withheld and does not enter the sitemap.
Evidence grades
- official — developer or publisher page.
- storefront — Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox, GOG, or another linked store.
- playthrough — first-hand play after launch, with notes on version.
- cross-source — two or more independent post-launch sources that agree.
- preview — hands-on or interview material. Allowed only when labeled, never as a walkthrough step.
- community — useful for finding questions, never the only proof of a mechanic.
Conflicts
Official pages beat storefronts. Storefronts beat previews. Previews beat community posts. If sources conflict, the page keeps the unknown and records both claims in the source log.
After launch
Fill from the templates in docs/editorial/. Run the content QA checklist before a page becomes indexable. Update verifiedAt whenever a patch changes the route.
